Uses of As Far As (जहाँ तक/जितना का उपयोग)
The conjunction "as far as" is defined as "to the extent" or "degree that". It is used as "regarding" or "concerning" in a sentence. Here are some of the phrases showing how and where to use "as far as" below:
Examples:
1) As far as I remember, my car has not been washed since last year.
जहाँ तक मुझे याद है मेरी कार पिछले साल से अब तक सफाई धुलाई नही की गई है। (Jaha tak mujhe yaadhai meri car pichle saal se ab tak safai dhulayi nhi ki gyi hai).
2) He told me that as far as he remembers, he never approved the transaction.
उसने मुझसे कहा कि जहाँ तक उसे याद हैं, उसने कभी नही लेन देन की स्वीकृति दी थी। (Usne mujhse kha ki jhan tak use yaad hai, usne kbhi len den ki swikriti di thi).
3) Their involvement in this crime is negligible as far as I can see.
जहाँ तक मै देख सकता हूँ अपराध मे उनकी उपस्थति नही है। (Jahan tak mai dekh sakta hu apradh me unkii upasatithi nhi hai).
4) As far as politics is concerned his achievements, it has so far smoothly.
जहाँ तक राजनितिक में उसकी उपलब्धि का सवाल है, यह अब तक ठीक ठाक हैं। (Jahan tak rajnitik me uski uplabdhi ka sawal hai, yah ab tak thik thak hai).
5) As far as I can see, there is no cloud which can arise a deadlock in seafaring.
जहाँ तक कि मै देख सकती हूं, कोई बादल नही है जो हमारी समुद्र यात्रा मे गतिरोध उत्पन्न कर सके। (Jahan tak ki mai dekh sakti hun, koi badal nhi hai jo hamari samundra yatra me gatirodh utpan kar ske).
6) As far as we were concerned there was no problem with that society it was the individuals who were wrong.
जहाँ तक हम लोगो की बात थी उस समाज से कोई समस्या नही थी, यह उन लोगो की समस्याएँ थी जो गलत थे। (Jahan tak hum logo ki baat thi us samaj se koi samsya nhi thi, yah un logo ki samsaye thi jo galat the).
7) As far as I can relate, I am not lazy.
जहाँ तक मेरा ताल्लुक हैं, मै आलसी नही हूँ। (Jaha tak mera taluk hai, mai aalsi nhi hu).
8) As far as I know, he has never come on time.
जहाँ तक मै जानता हूँ वह कभी भी समय पर नही आया। (jahan tak mai janta hu wah kbhi bhi samay par nhi aaya).
9) They have always kept their word as far as I know.
जहाँ तक मै जानता हूँ उन लोगो ने हमेशा अपना वादा पूरा किया। (Jahan tak mai janta hu un logo ne hamesha vada pura kiya).
10) So far as scientists know this is the oldest known dinosaur group nesting site.
जितना की वैज्ञानिको को मालूम है यह प्राचीनतम ज्ञात ङायनासोर समूह का घरोंदा स्थल हैं। (Jitna ki vaigyaniko ko malum hai yah prachintam gyat daynasor kamuh ka gharonda sthal hai).
